In relation to the recent developments due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus). This morning we experienced an escalation in the Federal Government’s response to COVID-19. We wanted to provide you with an update regarding the operation of the clinic.
As of announcements on the 23rd of March 2020, allied health facilities can remain open. Business closures currently only apply to cinemas, restaurants, pubs, cafes, gyms and religious gatherings. More information on business closures can be found below.https://preview.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/businesses-and-employees
We are taking infection control precautions that help to minimise the spread. Steps we are taking:
- Hand washing/hand sanitising between patients
- Changing of disposable face paper between patients
- Wiping down tables between patients
- We are regularly disinfecting surfaces and door handles
Please do not attend the clinic if you do not feel well, have recently returned from overseas (14 days) or who been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
We will keep you informed on any further developments relating to clinic operation.
We would like to thank you for your ongoing support at such an unprecedented time.
